Hartford Fire Insurance expanded and relocated at 105 Maxess Road, leasing 5,340 square feet of Class-A space.  BBRC worked with Hartford to create an airy, modern suite which includes large glass vision panels to allow natural light to flow throughout the space, upgraded LED lighting, several huddle areas for collaboration and a comfort room.

Klima New York, LLC leased 12,841 square feet of Class-A space at Broadhollow Corporate Center. Klima was established in 2011, as an equipment manufacturer’s representative but has continued to expand as an HVAC specialist. BBRC worked with Klima to integrate the same feel of their Long Island City office by incorporating polished concrete floors, modern floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and an employee recreation area.

CDM Smith leased 5,198 square feet of Class-A office space at Melville Corporate Center III. The construction engineering firm provides smart solutions in water, environment, transportation, energy and facilities. BBRC worked with CDM Smith to achieve their sleek and modern company standard build out which incorporated a bright and airy feel, along with glass wall furniture systems, re-carpeting the entire suite, painting all walls and building additional huddle rooms.

Schindler Elevator leased nearly 7,000 square feet of office space at 105 Maxess Road. They upgraded their presence from “flex” space in Hicksville and have now planted their flag in Melville. Looking to implement a new, modern, sleek design, BBRC constructed this new location outfitted with suspended LED lighting, upgraded carpet, glass fronts on all their offices and conference rooms as well as a light and airy open concept break area to enjoy.

Envisionary Life has relocated their headquarters from Queens to Melville, NY. Founded in 2020, their company has continued to grow now occupying almost 3,000 square feet of Class-A office space. BBRC helped the firm match their company vision of high quality and cutting-edge technology with the build out of their new offices. This included beautiful glass front offices, upgraded LED lighting and a serene color scheme to provide a work environment to positively impact and promote a healthy and successful lives.

Orion Advisor Solutions, LLC moved into Melville Corporate Center I in January 2020. The financial technology firm is a portfolio company of private equity firm, TA Associates. From a building in Hauppauge, the company moved to a quiet location on the second floor of T. Weiss Realty’s Class A building in Melville. The space is heavily window lined, allowing natural light to pour in. The bright and colorful suite features our popular loft-style build out with exposed ceiling joists and metal framework. The suite features a break area with a new kitchen and top-of-the-line appliances. The 6,498 square foot office was constructed by BBRC.

Relocating into nearly 10,000 square feet from downtown Huntington, First Heritage Insurance Agency tripled the size of their old office when they came to Melville Corporate Center III in January of 2020. This suite is outfitted with floor to ceiling cultured stone accent walls, electrified glass walls servicing their conference rooms (“foggable” with a switch), executive three-piece bathroom, executive bar/lounge with engineered flooring, wall mounted water bottle fillers in strategic locations throughout the space, carpet tile planking throughout the bullpen areas, and wall talkers (dry erase wall application) in conference rooms.

After making the decision to relocate their headquarters from Amityville into Melville, BigName Holdings desired a new office location that reflected the unique and high-tech nature of their firm. BBRC worked closely with the company’s executive team to construct this 7,312 square foot suite at Melville Corporate Center I. The space features a loft-style build out with exposed ceiling joists and metal framework. Indirect LED lighting hangs from the steel beams, while HVAC, sprinkler lines and telecommunications piping runs throughout the open and airy loft ceiling. Spray coating was performed on on all decking, bar joists, beams, pipes and ducting. BBRC also constructed an employee lounge area with wood flooring, and bright white cabinetry. The suite was painted with several accent walls, in a bright blue color to give BigName branding opportunities and pops of color throughout.

Relocating from another location in Melville, Hardesty & Hanover leased 2,594 square feet of Class-A office space at Melville Corporate Center I. The full-service infrastructure engineering firm worked in tandem with BBRC to outfit their new space, while navigating a quick turnaround for employees to take occupancy during February of 2019. Highlights of BBRC’s work within the new suite included re-carpeting the entire suite, painting all walls, installing new cove base, creating an accent wall within the reception area, providing furniture to the tenant in all office areas, running low voltage power to several areas within the suite, modifying the existing access control system, and demolition of an existing reception wall to create a half wall.

Relocating from Melville Corporate Center I, into larger space at Melville Corporate Center II, Caliber Home Loans took occupancy of their new space in August of 2018. Highlights of BBRC’s work within the new suite included the outfitting of a large glass wall in Caliber’s conference room. The suite was re-painted to Caliber’s corporate color scheme, and planked carpet was installed throughout the premises. To manage the tenant’s telecommunications and power wiring, BBRC worked with the Caliber team to lay down a Connectrac system throughout the bull pen.

Working closely with The Hartford Insurance Company’s out of state project management team, BBRC outfitted this 3,148 square foot suite during February of 2018. As Hartford’s first independent Melville office location, the suite was designed to incorporate numerous branding elements and other upgrades for local employees. Highlights included:

• Installation of upgraded carpet, a cable management system for the tenant’s IT needs, an access control system for various entry points into and within the suite, as well as the wiring for a video intercom system
• Extensive electrical work was performed within the space, including core drilling for telecommunications and the installation of a new sub-panel
• Plumbing and high hat lighting were added to a new employee break area
• The suite’s glass entrance doors were finished with a custom door frosting to include the The Hartford’s logo

After selecting the Broadhollow Corporate Center for their next regional hub office, Teledomani was drawn to this particular suite for its unique layout. Interior offices with large vision panels meant that Teledomani’s managers could monitor the activity of their staff in the adjoining bull pen area. Leaving the window line open for the company’s bull pen area meant that employees in cubicles could still benefit from natural sunlight. Other highlights of the BBRC-led build out included:

• New paint throughout the entire suite
• Re-carpeting of the entire office
• Installation of an extensive access control system at entry points as well as internally within the suite
• Etching of the company’s logo on two exterior doors within the suite
• Utilization of existing power whip connections for Teledomani’s data and phone requirements

After establishing their corporate headquarters in Hartford, Connecticut, and receiving positive feedback on their loft-style office space from employees, Foley Carrier Solutions determined that their new Long Island location would benefit from the same type of layout. The new 3,200 square foot suite at Melville Corporate Center I was constructed by BBRC and included highlights such as:

• Exposed ceilings to the building deck
• A custom shiplap wall was created in the company’s conference room
• Sprayed coating on all decking, bar joists, beams, pipes and ducting to create a uniform loft look
• Installation of full glass, large single vision office doors
• Loft-inspired LED light fixtures including pendent lights and lay-in lighting
• Custom millwork and plumbing in the employee break area
• Access controls were installed on Foley’s suite entrance doors
• Core drilling was performed in order to lay in data and electrical wiring

Building on the success of 24 Seven’s New York City location, the firm leased approximately 5,000 square feet of office space at Melville Corporate Center I at the start of 2017. BBRC leveraged the creative abilities of our contractors and the construction expertise of our staff to design a loft-inspired suite at 105 Maxess Road. Highlights included:

• Exposed ceilings to the building deck
• Spray painting all decking, bar joists, beams, pipes and ducting to create a uniform loft look
• Pendant light fixtures, direct and indirect lighting and lay-in lighting fixtures were used
• LED lighting
• Occupancy sensors were used for energy efficiency
• Custom millwork in the employee break room
• Rerouting the plumbing within the building to accommodate tenant’s pantry with a sink
• Access controls were installed on suite doors
• Core drilling to accommodate data and electrical wiring
• Corporate colors were integrated into design scheme

Managing and working closely with Northwell Health on a new Melville location, BBRC was the general contractor responsible for this 60,000 square foot office space buildout. Highlights included:

• Wired building and installed hook-ups so building is generator-ready
• Erected intricate cable management systems in plenum to accommodate dense low-voltage cabling
• Interior employee and executive bathrooms
• Installed over 200 workstations
• Coordinated cabling and electrification to workstations
• High-end modular carpeting

Working in tandem with the Customers Bank construction management team, BBRC built this approximately 7,000 square foot bank office location on the third floor at Melville Corporate Center III. Highlights included:

• Coordinated the integration of the bank’s security requirements
• Construction of windowed executive offices with vision panels
• Created a new, upgraded ceiling grid with a 9′ ceiling height
• Upgraded carpet tiles throughout common areas and custom carpet design in offices
• Solid core oak veneer doors throughout the suite
• New LED lighting fixtures and ceiling occupancy sensors
• Construction of kitchen area with custom millwork and plumbing for tenant use
• Mounting of new Rockfon ceiling tile throughout the suite
• Assembling and installation of tenant cubicles and work stations
• Completed project on time and within budget

BBRC worked in collaboration with the Astoria Bank project management team to create this 4,000 square foot bank branch and office; the first Melville location for Astoria. Highlights included:

• Coordinated the installation of bank branch security requirements
• Floor-to-ceiling Herculite glass walls and doors
• LED lighting
• Floating sheetrock ceilings
• Custom millwork throughout to accommodate ATMs and transaction points
• High-end carpeting
• Installed of high-efficiency roof-mounted HVAC units

• Created direct entrance from building exterior for bank patrons to utilize ATM and banking services

Construction on this high-end conference and meeting facility was completed in 2013 to accommodate building tenants with larger meeting requirements. Highlights included:

• Concrete trenching for data and power
• LED lighting
• Installed narrow grid acoustic ceiling with surrounding soffit
• Audio-visual installations and Wi-Fi throughout
• Custom floating cabinetry
• Idea paint (dry erase paint) installed on projection wall
• Ceiling-mounted projector

A unique marine-related project, BBRC supervised the complete reconstruction of this 300′ wood bulk head and adjoining bluff along the Long Island Sound. Highlights included:

• Installed fifty 18′ pilings to a depth of 9′
• Constructed bulk head using 3″ tongue-and-groove and 6″ x 6″ whalers
• Back filled 1,500 cubic yards of material
• Restored over 400′ of bluff (30′ high) with retaining walls and tiering
• Replanted bluff with indiginous plants and grasses

BBRC worked in conjunction with the North Shore – Long Island Jewish team to create a 4,000 square foot suite for a new STARS (Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Services) location. Highlights included:

• Exhaust fan in the server room
• Roof-mounted high-efficiency HVAC units

• Installation of washer/dryer in wet room

After making the decision to add a second office location, and establish a presence in the growing Melville marketplace, Lincoln Land Services worked hand in hand with BBRC to build a loft-inspired, 3,025 square foot suite at Melville Corporate Center III. Highlights included:

• Installation of an upgraded true divided light door for tenant’s suite entrance as well as the door to the conference room
• Solid core oak veneer doors throughout the remainder of the suite
• Wood plank laminate flooring in the reception area
• Construction of three large, frosted glass vision panels in the conference room
• Large, unfrosted vision panels in all manager offices
• A new ceiling grid and tiles (unique narrow style grid) in the reception area and conference room with a 9′ height
• Spraying two coats of white paint onto the entire exposed ceiling in the bull pen area to create a clean, uniform look
• Installation of sound dampening devices above bull pen area
• Loop carpeting in bull pen and offices with unique design
• Rerouting the plumbing within the building to accommodate tenant’s pantry with a sink
• In order to create a streamlined, exposed ceiling look, specialty HVAC duct work was done in the bull pen by placing diffusers in the sheet rock walls of the surrounding perimeter offices
• Specialty lighting to include suspended linear indirect basket fixtures in bull pen, and parabolic lighting in offices
• All lighting is energy efficient

Working closely with the Chicago-based construction team at Jones Lang LaSalle, and numerous highly-specialized trades from Long Island, BBRC seamlessly managed the build out of this 5,200 square foot suite. Highlights included:

• Upgraded lighting throughout the tenant’s suite to include linear direct and indirect pendant fixtures, recessed lighting, high hat fixtures, accent lighting, ceiling-suspended light fixtures, under counter lighting, and a custom soffit design to accommodate a unique pendant light design in the employee lounge area

BBRC served as the general contractor on this 15,000+ square foot construction of the regional headquarters for Aviva while working hand-in-hand with Aviva’s global project manager, Jones Lang LaSalle, to meet critical deadlines and coordinate Aviva’s security / IT departments. Highlights included:

• Roof-mounted Glycol cooling system in data center
• Argonite fire suppression system in data center
• Custom cabinetry and plumbing in employee break room
• Upgraded carpet tiles

Using knowledge and best practices from former dental office construction projects, BBRC built and delivered this intricate dental build on time to the local team in Melville. Highlights included:

• Liaising with the project management team at Henry Schein for interior suite finishings including cabinetry, chairs, dental supplies, and more
• Working closely with Bladykas Engineering to design and built the space with the client’s parameters
• Creating a new exterior egress with outdoor pavers and glass doors
• Building an upgraded reception area for dental guests, complete with chair rail and upgraded finishings
• Extensive concrete core drilling for plumbing lines and other below grade necessities

BBRC acted as the general contractor on this 45,000+ square foot full buildout for TD Bank’s regional headquarters spanning the first, third and fourth floors of Melville Corporate Center III. Highlights included:

• Worked with Johnson Controls (tenant’s project manager) to coordinate security, IT and meet project deadlines
• Worked with Bergmeyer Associates (tenant’s architect) to design custom layout
• Numerous kitchens within suite
• Floor-to-ceiling Herculite glass offices
• Complex soffit detailing
• Stone walls and other custom mansonry
• Core drilling throughout premises for data and electric requirements

Originally an 85,000 square foot warehouse, BBRC completed a total rehabilitation and converted this blighted industrial property into a 135,000 square foot, Class A office building. Highlights included:

• On-time completion of a four-story building with a two-story central glass atrium
• Constructed a new basement level
• Outdoor water features and meditation gardens
• Parking lot expanded with re-grading and re-paving
• Installed a 750 KW katolight generator
• Nine separate HVAC units per floor were added
• 24/7 proximity card access system for tenant security

Completing this intricate culinary construction project, BBRC oversaw and delivered a custom cafe within the central atrium of Melville Corporate Center III. Highlights included:

• Custom cabinetry
• Installed specialty refrigeration
• Exposed 18′ ceiling sprayed black to create a loft feel
• Gas lines, ventilation and fire suppression systems installed in compliance with Town of Huntington code
• Coordinated delivery and installation of full cooking line and walk-in refrigeration unit

This full-service health club facility was constructed on the lower level of Melville Corporate Center III to accommodate tenants within the building. Highlights included:

• Exposed 12′ ceiling sprayed black to create a loft feel
• Extensive plumbing and custom millwork in locker rooms
• Custom hard duct HVAC throughout to compliment loft style
• Installed rubber flooring for free-weight area

Acting as the general contractor for this 42,500 square foot build-to-suit design, BBRC worked with numerous contractors and tenant’s chosen architect to complete this ground-up office space for Verint Systems. Highlights included:

• Custom built reception desk
• Reception area outfitted with porcelain tile, curved accent wall and floating sheetrock ceilings
• Extensive supplemental cooling units lifted onto roof to service tenant’s server rooms
• Constructed 1,000 square foot warehouse with direct access as per tenant’s requirements

Previously an 80,000 square foot millworking warehouse, BBRC was hired to demolish and re-build this property into an 88,000 square foot, Class A office building. Highlights included:

BBRC worked closely with Sovereign Bank to build this 8,024 SF, high-security bank branch and employee office at Melville Corporate Center II. Highlights included:

• Arranged for the installation of a bank vault within the space for tenant use

BBRC constructed this approximately 67,000 square foot corporate headquarters for Garden City Group at 105 Maxess Road at the end of 2000. Highlights included:

• Working with numerous vendors and Garden City Group’s project management team
• Delivered project on time for scheduled employee move-in date
• Entire premises was outfitted with energy saving, high-efficiency lighting
• Indirect lighting and high hats were installed in the reception area
• Solid core oak doors throughout suite
• Drywall ceiling in reception area with coordinating soffit to create a 12′ ceiling height

• Upgraded 30 ounce cut pile carpet was installed in conference rooms and executive offices

BBRC acted as the general contractor for the construction of this Scholz designed house of the 90’s. This custom 10,700 SF waterfront residence, located in Lloyd Neck New York, was built to the exacting design and specifications of the Scholz architectural team. Highlights included:

• 12′ ceiling clearance in the lower level to accommodate an oversized media room and entertainment area
• Main level great room with 22′ ceilings and custom woodwork
• Installed supplemental generator to power entire home
• In ground gunite pool with brick patio
• Focal point columns and concrete balustrades

Previously used as a retail building, BBRC was hired to retrofit and re-build this property into a 14,200 square foot, ADA compliant, office building along a busy medical corridor in Massapequa. Highlights included:
