Orion Advisor Solutions, LLC moved into Melville Corporate Center I in January 2020. The financial technology firm is a portfolio company of private equity firm, TA Associates. From a building in Hauppauge, the company moved to a quiet location on the second floor of T. Weiss Realty’s Class A building in Melville. The space is heavily window lined, allowing natural light to pour in. The bright and colorful suite features our popular loft-style build out with exposed ceiling joists and metal framework. The suite features a break area with a new kitchen and top-of-the-line appliances. The 6,498 square foot office was constructed by BBRC.

This suite is outfitted with floor to ceiling cultured stone accent walls, electrified glass walls servicing their conference rooms (“foggable” with a switch), executive three-piece bathroom, executive bar/lounge with engineered flooring, wall mounted water bottle fillers in strategic locations throughout the space, carpet tile planking throughout the bullpen areas, and wall talkers (dry erase wall application) in conference rooms.

Melville Corporate Center I

After making the decision to relocate their headquarters from Amityville into Melville, BigName Holdings desired a new office location that reflected the unique and high-tech nature of their firm. BBRC worked closely with the company’s executive team to construct this 7,312 square foot suite at Melville Corporate Center I. The space features a loft-style build out with exposed ceiling joists and metal framework. Indirect LED lighting hangs from the steel beams, while HVAC, sprinkler lines and telecommunications piping runs throughout the open and airy loft ceiling. Spray coating was performed on on all decking, bar joists, beams, pipes and ducting. BBRC also constructed an employee lounge area with wood flooring, and bright white cabinetry. The suite was painted with several accent walls, in a bright blue color to give BigName branding opportunities and pops of color throughout.

Relocating from another location in Melville, Hardesty & Hanover leased 2,594 square feet of Class-A office space at Melville Corporate Center I. The full-service infrastructure engineering firm worked in tandem with BBRC to outfit their new space, while navigating a quick turnaround for employees to take occupancy during February of 2019. Highlights of BBRC’s work within the new suite included re-carpeting the entire suite, painting all walls, installing new cove base, creating an accent wall within the reception area, providing furniture to the tenant in all office areas, running low voltage power to several areas within the suite, modifying the existing access control system, and demolition of an existing reception wall to create a half wall.

Relocating from Melville Corporate Center I, into larger space at Melville Corporate Center II, Caliber Home Loans took occupancy of their new space in August of 2018. Highlights of BBRC’s work within the new suite included the outfitting of a large glass wall in Caliber’s conference room. The suite was re-painted to Caliber’s corporate color scheme, and planked carpet was installed throughout the premises. To manage the tenant’s telecommunications and power wiring, BBRC worked with the Caliber team to lay down a Connectrac system throughout the bull pen.

Working closely with The Hartford Insurance Company’s out of state project management team, BBRC outfitted this 3,148 square foot suite during February of 2018. As Hartford’s first independent Melville office location, the suite was designed to incorporate numerous branding elements and other upgrades for local employees. Highlights included:

  • Installation of upgraded carpet, a cable management system for the tenant’s IT needs, an access control system for various entry points into and within the suite, as well as the wiring for a video intercom system
  • Extensive electrical work was performed within the space, including core drilling for telecommunications and the installation of a new sub-panel
  • Plumbing and high hat lighting were added to a new employee break area
  • The suite’s glass entrance doors were finished with a custom door frosting to include the The Hartford’s logo

After selecting the Broadhollow Corporate Center for their next regional hub office, Teledomani was drawn to this particular suite for its unique layout. Interior offices with large vision panels meant that Teledomani’s managers could monitor the activity of their staff in the adjoining bull pen area. Leaving the window line open for the company’s bull pen area meant that employees in cubicles could still benefit from natural sunlight. Other highlights of the BBRC-led build out included:

  • New paint throughout the entire suite
  • Re-carpeting of the entire office
  • Installation of an extensive access control system at entry points as well as internally within the suite
  • Etching of the company’s logo on two exterior doors within the suite

After making the decision to add a second office location, and establish a presence in the growing Melville marketplace, Lincoln Land Services worked hand in hand with BBRC to build a loft-inspired, 3,025 square foot suite at Melville Corporate Center III. Highlights included:

  • Installation of an upgraded true divided light door for tenant’s suite entrance as well as the door to the conference room
  • Solid core oak veneer doors throughout the remainder of the suite
  • Wood plank laminate flooring in the reception area
  • Construction of three large, frosted glass vision panels in the conference room
  • Large, unfrosted vision panels in all manager offices
  • A new ceiling grid and tiles (unique narrow style grid) in the reception area and conference room with a 9′ height
  • Spraying two coats of white paint onto the entire exposed ceiling in the bull pen area to create a clean, uniform look
